Teriyaki noodle bowl

This was a huge hit at my house. So delish. For the noodles I used chow mein noodles and it didn't work your suppose to have soba noodles and I didn't want to order them from online. So next time I'm gonna use regular noodles. For the sauce I added a little of actual teriyaki sauce I got from costco and it tasted the same.

What you'll need:
        Teriyaki sauce-

  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp rice vinegar (I ran out of rice so I used regular vinegar and it turned out just fine)
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ginger
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
      Veggies and noodles-

  • 1 lb of frozen veggies or fresh
  • 8 oz soba noodles or regular
  • veggie oil
What to do:
Cook noodles till tender
Mix all ingredients for the sauce in a bowl or measuring cup.
Put frozen veggies in pan with veggie oil. Cook till almost tender and add sauce. Mix in, and let it simmer for about 5 min or till veggies are tender. Sauce should be thick and creamy.
Add drained noodles to sauce/veggie mix and stir to combine.
Enjoy:)

  • tape glow sticks to the ceiling fan, turn off light and watch it go.
  • When you get those huge boxes in the mail. Put your kid in it and give them crayons and let them go at it with their art skills.
  • Also with boxes, take them apart and lay them on your stairs and tada a slide.
  • Glow in the dark bubbles??? well just cut open some glow sticks and dump it in the bubble stuff. Blow bubbles in the dark and watch them glow.
  • Grab a huge tarp, lay on grass, nail it down, put hose on it and slide away.

Olive Garden copycat five cheese ziti al forno

This is amazing and it tastes just like the dish you get at olive garden and its a lot cheaper!!!. I added meat to it and it tasted great. I forgot to add the Ricotta cheese and it tasted just fine.

What you'll need:

  • 1 jar of Alfredo sauce
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Fontina cheese
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Pasta -cooked
  • Meat - I used beef
What to do:
Preheat oven at 375 degrees- grease a 9 by 13 casserole dish.

Cook pasta, while pasta is cooking cook beef if you are adding meat. Add whole jar of alfredo sauce and marinara sauce. For the cheese I just bought the Italian Blend in a bag already shredded and it was much easier. The only cheese it didnt have is the Ricotta cheese.  I got the one that has 2 cups in it and I added about half of the bag to the sauce.

Cook the sauce till it starts bubbling, stir. Add the sauce to the pasta, stir to mix the pasta and sauce really good and put that into the casserole dish. Top the other half of the bag of cheese.

Bake for 20 min or until cheese is melted.

Glass stove top cleaner idea

This is just a way to clean your glass stove top. It works amazing for me so I want to share it. It works for only Glass so far. You can try it on other ones.

What you'll need:

  • Soft scrub with bleach
  • Scrubby pad
  • Baking soda
  • White Vinegar (not pictured)

What to do:

1. Squeeze some soft scrub on the surface and wipe it with the scrubby pad in circular motions. Get every corner.
2. Put baking soda on like the one on the right and mix it in with soft scrub with the scrubby pad again be sure it doesnt dissolve in the cleaner It need to be like the cleaner just kinda milky. Have it look like this on the left .
3. Leave it on for a couple of min. I kept it on for 2 hrs. Wipe it of with a wet rag, and you should get white streaks like this.

4. Put some vinegar on a paper towel and wipe it till there are no more white spots and tada clean stove top.

Sorry about the pics i took them on my phone.
Happy cleaning:) hope it helps with spring cleaning.
