Review: Turbo Fire

Known as the intense cardio conditioning. Or as I like to call it " Zumba on speed".  Turbo Fire is a High intensity interval training (HIIT) program and is a moderate to advanced level. This program will help you burn calories during and
after the workout.

"Tell yourself you've got high enerdy and you feel great. You'll believe whatever you tell yourself"
       - Chalene Johnson

I admit this program is very hard. I would say it could go under the insanity category because of all the plyo and HIIT. The trainer Chalene Johnson is just so amazing and motivated throughout the whole program.  All workouts are created by Chalene.
Here are the workouts:

  • Low HIIT 20- Low impact but still get afterburn effect after. 20 min

  • Fire 30- Recover from the HIIT workouts. Still burn fat and get the heart rate pumping. 30 min
  • Fire 40- Includes moves from some of the HIIT workouts. Longer workout and more moves to burn fat. 40 min

  • Fire 60- More fire drill and more moves. Longest program. 60 min
  • Sculpt 30- Get more sculpted in this workout. 30 min
  • Tone 30- tone your body from head to toe. -30 min
  • Core 20- get ripped abs with this intense core workout. 20 min

This whole program was so organized. I have found my new core workout. Core 20 is literally the best so far. It works all the way around your waist and targets the muffin top.
I did a hybrid with this so there are a lot of workouts I didn't do, but will someday. I think HIIT 30 was one of the hard ones and fire 45 too. I was sweating in places I didn't even know I could sweat. Ab igniter is another core workout that I liked, mainly because of the time.
So I started this without doing the fire starter. I did fire 30 and I had no idea what I was doing. I was still getting a good sweat, but wasn't enjoying it. I was all over the place with this one. I gave it another go and loved it. I learn dance moves pretty quick, so the second time I did a lot better and had a lot more fun.

"You're always a work in progress. Flexibility. Personality. Motivation. There's always room to improve."
             -Chalene Johnson

Later on I decided that Chalene reminded me of Cruz from Cars 3. The motivation and keeping you going. I can imagine her saying "Use that!!" and I'm over here saying "Im a fluffy cloud". I love it!!

"WIN FOR THEM!!"
"GUESS WHAT?.. YOUR NOT TIRED"

I see somewhat of a resemblance... do you? They both are awesome!!

This program reminds me of Cize. If you have never heard of it, it's a program and you dance. See my review on it if you want to learn more.
All the movements and the fun in it. Cize and turbo fire and way different. Cize you learn the moves before hand. Turbo fire you do one video to learn all the moves at once to do the other workouts. Also has more jumping and burpees in it. I do get my heart rate up more with Turbo fire than Cize.

During this program I have lowered my resting heart rate and reached my maximum heart rate. GOAL!!! It was the best feeling ever!!

Here are my results.
I mainly toned and did cardio respiratory training.
