Beauty tip: tucked headband updo

First off HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
Here is my first post of the year.
I really like this hairstyle cause it looks like you cut your hair. A lot of people thought I chopped my hair off again haha. This is kinda hard to explain so ill do my best. When I have time ill do a video of it to make it easier.

What you'll need:

this is what the shine
spray looks like.

  • Hairspray
  • Gel ( I used shine spray you get from avon. I dont know why but it works really well.)
  • Beach spray (Optional) [ how to make it is under post beauty tip: easy curling hair]
  • Straightener
  • Any headband
  • A LOT!! of bobby pins
What to do:

I took big pieces of my
hair and curled it.
this is what it looks like

First off spray the beach spray and some hairspray. Than do a quick curl to your hair. It took me about 2 min to curl it all. You don't have to curl it if you don't want to. It just looks really cute if its curled and its easier to work with.

You can kinda see how
I rolled it up and covered
 the headband.
Keep curling till you got it all curled. It doesn't need to look nice, so some pieces can not be curled if you missed some. Place the headband on your head and work with it till it looks the way you want.  Next take a chunk of your hair and put it up and tuck in into the headband and bobby pin it into place. Keep doing this until its all pinned up. I used about 15 bobby pins for this part.
After this I just got the extra pieces and stuck them places and pinned.

It should look kinda like this in the back. Just all bunched up and messy cute.

The side view. Now I had to pull some of the hair out of the headband to make it look smooth not bulky and re curl it and either pin it or just let it hang to cover some of the headband.

I will probably end up doing a video of this. It would be easier, but for now we'll settle for this.

This is gonna be a great year:)
