DIY: Fall wreath

This one was so much fun. (like I say about all of them).
So I didn't know what else to put on it and I was thinkin I needed a cute sign.
I scrambled some stuff and thought of something amazing.
For the lettering I just Googled 'cute fall fonts' and found a cute one and typed it in for a preview and drew on my little sign with a pencil, than a black marker.
Amazing right!!

Cute Fall sign:

  • Cardboard
  • acrylic paint (fall colors). I chose dark green
  • black marker
  •  lettering layout
Cut what size you want. I just measured the wreath and decided on how big I wanted it.
Paint both sides; let dry.
Once dry put lettering on. (what I did above)

Now for the wreath.

What you'll need:
  • Wire wreath
  • wired burlap ribbon
  • fall flowers
  • fall decor (pumpkins, scar crow etc..)
  • hot glue gun
  • fall sign
What to do:
Wrap the burlap ribbon around the wreath like I did in the picture on the right.
Glue the end and glue some parts together so they won't unravel like the one on the left.
Place flowers and decor the way you want it. Now hot glue them really good.
Last the sign.
Make sure you hot glue everything like crazy or it will all come off during storage.

Thats it.... seriously how cute is this wreath.
This is a little different than my other ones. Wal-mart has been out of the branch wreaths for weeks and I wanted to make it so bad. I love the burlap.
Good luck and have fun.

See you in December!! for winter wreath.

Facts about (Boy) toddlers

O the toddler stage. The stage where they make the rules and call the shots.
For me a toddler is fun... sometimes.
Here are some facts about toddlers from my experience:
( all babies/toddlers are different this is from my point of view)

  • When they start walking, they don't walk they RUN!. You better get fit cause your gonna be running a lot.
  • They follow you everywhere and copy everything you do. My son is at the clingy stage and he follows me sayingt "mom mom mom" then throws himself at me.
  • They can be huge cuddle bugs. When they are in a good mood they are so cuddly you don't want to let them go.
  • 2 year molars are a @$%*& NIGHTMARE!!!! Nash has been teething for months now and it has been hell. You think the other teeth are bad... wait till these start comin in.
  • You seriously can't get enough of the little bugger.
  • Nash is learning his ABC and 123 from Ipad games. Its amazing how technology can help with stuff like that. Once they learn stuff  like this they are non stop.
  • All you hear is jibber jabber, blah blah blah, uh oh, and the famous swear word they learned from a family member. I think its cute when they go on and on. Nash will start talking and point at the ceiling. I just nod my head and say "ya sure".
  • By this time he will find his favorite woobie (blanket) and or stuffed animal. Nash has clinged onto a pig my mom got for him.
  • They'll follow you around saying "mommy mommy mommy" non stop. (its cute until they do it all day)
  • They don't know what the word "no" means.
  • They have you wrapped around their finger.
  • They'll choose what they like and don't like. Like animals or cars. Nash is obsessed with tractors, cars, trucks, phones, animals (especially dogs and horses), and moms work name tag. He doesn't like.... ummm i actually don't know.
  • Be prepared to watch the same &%$#@ thing all day everyday. Especially when their sick. A lot of moms can relate to this, especially if their older. Nash watches Paw patrol, Cars, Frozen, and Mr. Peabody and Sherman. Mainly Cars. If I want him occupied for an hour I put on that movie and 'snap' he's hooked.
  • You get to have a lot of dance party's. I love this, I love finding out what songs he likes. Right now Nash likes Luke Bryan, George Strait (I think) and Pitbull.
  • They know how to push buttons. Nash knows how to push mine..... especially when he gets into the dishwasher and fridge.
  • Lots of hugs and kisses!!! YES!!!
  • Whining, whining and more whining... non stop.
  • I read they pick a favorite family member.. Mom, dad or grandma.
  • All they do is eat and poop. Mainly eating. Nash will eat anything I give him.
  • They tend to break things!!!!
this is what happend to our t.v
  • Take lots of pictures, especially if he's your first. I take about a billion of Nash...and video.
  • Every time they see you do it... they learn. Watch out!
  • They are tiny ninjas. Seriously they'll disappear and reappear and your like "how did you get there?" They are so sneaky and quiet.. Speaking of being quiet....Where's Nash???
  • Usually when their quiet you know they are either pooping or getting into something their not suppose to.
  • They start to be extremely cute!!! Especially when they just start walking/waddling. Its fun to dress them up.
  • Halloween will be a lot more fun now.
  • No more carrying, they can just walk. Its way nice.
  • They are disgusting!! Picking noses, throwing and playing with poop, eating their feet and smelling yours. Seriously kid what the heck!!
  • They'll start naming things. Nash has named his pig "agee". So cute!!!
  • They will get jealous... all the time. Either playing with other kids or holding another baby.. ya that aint gonna work.
  • They make messes everywhere they go. Kitchen, bathroom, your room, his room everywhere!!!
  • Sensitivity is very high. You can't yell back or tell them no. You'll make him sad.
  • Be prepared to hear the word "No" all the time.
  • They learn to open doors and turn off lights. It can be a good thing or a bad thing.
  • They can be a big help around the house. I taught Nash to put stuff in the sink and garbage.
  • They love to tease you and its very annoying!!!
  • I taught Nash sign language and it is the best thing ever. He communicates with me more and I know what he wants.
  • They become your best bud. I take Nash everywhere I go. Hes my little buddy. I like to call him "goofy goober" or "booger".
  • From picking noses to eating their feet you never know what your toddler is capable of.
  • They know how to ignore you. They are masters at it.
  • Tantrums. Ya you say "my kid wont do that" hahah I laugh at you. Every kid does this. Every mom I have ever talked to said their kids threw/throws fits. Its normal. I think Nashs are cute. He falls to the floor and lays on his belly and puts his hands up and crys in his arms. When he does this I put him in his room and walk away. It helps trust me, you keep your sanity and you won't make him more upset. They know when your upset.. be careful.
  • Personality comes out.
  • They'll climb on everything and anything. Couches, beds, toilets, drawers, bathtubs, small places that you thought was impossible to climb in.
  • Explosive poop diapers are back again.... YUCK!!! Just for a little while.

O would you look at that Nash was throwing things in the toilet.... O i love my little toddler. Life would be so boring without him.
