Review: 22 Minute Hard Corpse

The shorter the workout, the harder it will be. This is somewhat true and can relate to any short timed workouts. But, it depends on what type of workout you are doing.
22 MHC is a 8 week program where you start not easy, but simple movements to help your muscles and cardio rate get ready for the other weeks to come.
This is a boot camp style program that is for intermediate fitness level people. Some moves are simple and some are hard.
Here is the workout lineup:

  • Cold start- Just a simple warm up to get those muscles working and blood pumping before you start your workout. - 12 min
  • Cardio 1- 7 moves, one calorie scorching workout. - 22 min
  • Cardio 2- like cardio 1 but 3 rounds of 7 moves that will test your limits. - 22 min
  • Cardio 3- Floor work and plyo moves. Get ready to sweat and burn that fat. Higher level of cardio 1 and 2. - 22 min
  • Core 1- 10 moves that will harden your core and get those muscles burning. - 10 min
  • Core 2- Reps are doubled and more hard core than core 1- 12 min
  • Resistance 1- 5 simple moves that are in a circuit training set. - 22 min
  • Resistance 2- More resistance and more sweating. - 22 min
  • Resistance 3- Plyometric and resistance combined to test your endurance - 22 min
  • Battle buddy- use the buddy system in this partner resistance training workout. - 22 min
Deluxe:
  • Special ops: cardio- These weighted cardio exercises utilize the Beachbody PT Sandbag to boost endurance and obliterate calories with extreme prejudice. - 22 min
  • Special ops: resistance- Three rounds of 5 advanced exercises that incorporate the variable-resistance Beachbody PT Sandbag to challenge your fitness even further. - 22 min
  • Special ops: core- This elite 10-move core workout hits your midsection hard to help you get ripped and ready for action. - 22 min.
As you can see the bigger the number, the harder the workout. I really liked this program, one because of the time and the other because it really felt like I was in a boot camp. Every program kicked my butt.
I did not do the deluxe because I was doing this program with 2 other programs.
I think my favs was cardio 1 and 2. Cardio 3 was a lot and I mean a lot of plyo and my knees and wrists arent ready for that yet. I did do it a couple times to get them use to it.
Resistance ones were so organized and easy to learn moves. I was having fun and was sore the next day.
Core I only did 1 because I was doing another core workout from the other programs I was doing. I really liked core 1. It really got my abs and even some hip action too.

Instead of a shirt you get a really cool coin when you finish.

Overall I think this program is well organized and can get major results if you follow the program and nutrition guide. Make sure you go at your maximum so you can get the best out of this program.
Below are my results. This took me almost 3 months instead 8 weeks cause of the hybrid I was doing.

Benefits of Apple cider vinegar

The first thing you think of when looking at ACV is YUCK! and why?
But did you know that there are major health benefits hidden in this liquid?
I first started drinking it about 6 months ago. I woke up with a horrible sore throat, so bad I couldn't swallow or even talk. I'm a very busy mom so I had to get better fast. I googled what to do and found ACV recipes.  I made my drink and took a shot. Within an hour my sore throat was gone and my sinuses were clear. Right there I knew I had to take this everyday.
I've read that its best before bed, after a workout, after breakfast, before breakfast and something to help you stay full. I have been taking it every morning and I cannot believe how i feel for the rest of the day. Such a difference in my day! I take a small shot glass and fill about less than half full of water and the rest with ACV. You need to take it with water never straight, because it can burn your esophagus and ruin your mouth and teeth.
I take it morning and night. Ive been taking it nightly when I'm done eating and right before bed. I do a glass of water 2 tbl of ACV 1 tsp lemon juice and 1 tbl of raw honey. Noticed I've been sleeping better and waking up more refreshed.
If you can't stand the liquid form you can take it in pill form. I prefer the liquid because you don't get the added stuff that the pill for comes with. I haven't done the pill form, I'm thinking it would be good to take on vacations.
There are so many recipes that go with this. You can google certain recipes for your liking.

Here are the benefits if you drink it:

  • Boost metabolism
  • Helps stay full longer
  • Helps sugar cravings
  • Helps with weight loss
  • Natural pre workout
  • Detox of bloodstream and organs
  • Helps getting over sickness easier
  • Boosts immune system
  • Relieves sore throat
  • Clears sinuses
  • Helps with loosening of the joints to help with arthritis
  • Clears acne
  •  Helps with fibromyalgia
  • Helps clear coughs
  • Helps regulate digestion
  • Cleans liver and kidneys
  • Helps relieve headaches and migranes
  • Gives skin a natural glow
  • Helps with hayfever and allergies.
  • May help with cellulite and spider veins.
  • Helps with bad breath
  • Helps boost sodium levels

There are a lot more with putting in hair and on skin, but thats for another post someday.
At first I had a hard time taking it. I do like how salty it is since I have low sodium.
As I find more benefits I will update.

Review: Cize

This program is for everyone. Even if you can't dance at all, Shaun T provides step by step simple instructions. It is so fun!! every workout is different and there are tons to choose from and some you dance to popular songs, like Ariana Grande and Black eyed peas.

Here are the workouts:

  • Crazy 8s- Starter dance moves that you will use throughout the program. Song: Hands in the air, originally sung by Timbaland. - 35 min
  • You got this- More new moves, but more pace. Song: Treasure, originally sung by Bruno Mars. -43 min
  • Full out- Level 2, little faster and sweat poring routine. Song: Lose my breath, originally sung by Destiny's Child. - 35 min
  • In the pocket- More confidence more challenges and skills. Song: Problem, originally sung by Ariana Grande. - 37 min
  • Go for it- More excitement more love of Cize. Song: Pass that dutch, originally sung by Missy Elliot - 41 min.
  • Livin in the 8s- Final routine and another challenge. Song: Chandelier originally sung by Sia. - 52 min.
The next level:
  • Work your body- Get ready to work, work , work. Song: Body sung by Chilli. - 31 min
  • Own every move- Own it and burn those calories. Song: Nobody love, originally sung by Tori Kelly. - 33 min
  • Whillin out- Get crazy and have fun with this routine. Song: Shut up, originally sung by Black eyed peas. - 30 min
  • Sync it up- New moves and more rhythm. Song: Brokenhearted, originally sung by Karmin. - 36 min.
  • Turn up the mix- More confidence with these moves. Song: One last time, originally sung by Ariana Grande. - 40 min
  • Speed it up- Big challenge, speeds up from 160 BPM to 231 BPM. Song: Circus, originally
sung by Britney Spears. - 43 min
  • Get into it- Fast paced routine with heart racing steps and calorie burning moves. Song: He aint with me now, originally sung by RichGirl. - 38 min
  • Turn it on- intense dance combo. Song: Wild, originally sung by Jessie J. - 34 min.
My favorite ones were Speed it up, whillin out, crazy 8s, turn up the mix, in the pocket, you got this and full out. I had a lot of fun with these workouts and I would always be sweating like crazy.

"You can burn between 200 and 400 calories in just a half hour of dancing"

Speed it up is way fun, but really hard. You go from slow to fast to really fast. At first its easy, but once you cize it up it is hard. The more you do it the better you get at it.
He repeats moves in a couple of workouts, quite a bit from crazy 8s. The next level is more fast pace than the others.
If you don't get really into it and do each move with all you got..... it will get boring and your heart rate won't go up and you won't sweat.
I didn't really follow a schedule I just did what I felt like doing that day. I also did a hybrid with this. Body beast, 22 minute hard corpse and this. It was pretty hard but it made Cize more enjoyable.
I was training for my first spartan race and this helped with cardio and agility in the mountains in Colorado.
I love how fun shaun makes it, you don't even realize that your working out and burning calories.
after
It took me about 3-4 months to finish this program because I was doing a hybrid.

I maintained weight and added some lean muscle.
before
here are my before and after pics:)

This is a very enjoyable program, but can easily get bored when doing the same workout everyday for a week.
I recommend a hybrid program with this.

short post.... not much to talk about.
